On April 5th 2022 we hosted guests from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany). The purpose of the study visit was to introduce the visitors to PUMS’ research and development potential and to establish potential cooperation in the area of rehabilitation of gait, interdisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, and the use of machine learning and AI in the interpretation of histological images.

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg was represented by its president, prof. Gesine Grande, and the manager of the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus in Dresden, Jörg Nowotny. The hosts from PUMS were prof. Michał Nowicki and assoc. prof. Agnieszka Przystańska. Also among the visitors were many scientists and specialists from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and representatives of Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

We hope the future cooperation will also result in the exchange of teaching experiences.
