Medical Licensing
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) qualification awarded by PUMS is recognized worldwide and can be used to apply for a local medical license in most countries in the world. In order to do so a medical graduate has to fulfill the destination country's national or state medical board requirements, usually involving an examination or a series of examinations and an internship period.
Over 2000 international alumni of our programs are pursuing their professional careers in countries like US, Canada, Norway, Germany, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, UK and Ireland, and, of course, Poland.
The following password-protected information section on pathways to selected national licensing abroad is only available to PUMS students and graduates.
